Pre-occupation, anxiety, distraction - perhaps these were the prevailing states of mind in 'the allotment gardener of Nowhere in particular' today; busy as a bee about the site getting on with the various 'doings to be done', in the unseasonably warm and sunny weather, while also lost in the mysterious interior lives of the honey bee.

The plants are really getting going now, as nighttime temperatures have stopped dipping quite so low.
