Spring Salad - 29/3/20
Shungiku / primrose flowers / kale flowers / american land cress / florence fennel / miner's lettuce / dittander / white dead nettle / red dead nettle / henbit / wild garlic inc' flowers / crow garlic / sculpit / salad burnet / red mustard - oriental ruby streaks / green mustard / pea shoots & flowers / lovage / lungwort / lettuce / mizuna.
White Dead Nettle - Lamium album:
dotted around the site, usually growing in clumps - probably best known for the little bit of sweetness to be sucked from the flowers - I picked the tops of this plant for the salad.
A weed that seems to have proliferated during the course of the very wet and mild winter is 'creeping buttercup'

And while I foraged for a spring salad, honeybees were out foraging for water - at a small pond at the edge of Plot B.
