Almond flower - B top
Wet (very wet) on the heels of the blustery love of Storm Ciara comes Storm Dennis. We shall see how rough 'his' attentions will have been on the delicate spring-time emanations of the allotment garden of Nowhere in particular.
The day began with a large delivery (2 tonnes/dumpy bags) of compost and manure. Slippery muddy paths made the task of transporting that bulky delivery slightly arduous.
Compost applied immediately to the raised beds of A top - raked out and re-covered until sowing and planting out time.
B4 - Rhubarb Row - application of manure to the rhubarb beds, and the installation of a rhubarb forcer.

This task was carried out in early March, in 2019. Below is a record of how the rhubarb forced between March and April of 2019.
